Life cycle analysis

Our LCA approach helps us improve sustainability, reduce waste, and contribute to a circular economy, ensuring that our products support eco-friendly and responsible choices for modern workspaces.

With the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), Zipperwall actually measured the environmental effects of its own products. We also had the circularity (MCI) of the product calculated. This is no less than 99.84%.

Zipperwall is committed to sustainable and circular construction. Through choices for sustainable, local products and smarter use of materials. With our ready-to-use circular solution, we want to help organizations organize and renovate their buildings easily and flexibly. Without waste!

WHAT IS THE CO2 IMPACT OF YOUR OFFICE DESIGN?

Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) has been carried out on Zipperwall products (partition walls and space-in-spaces). Zipperwall is the first space-in-space in the Netherlands for which an LCA has been done.

Due to the circular nature of the product, the sustainable materials, local production and short logistics lines, both the wall and the space-in-space have a very low environmental impact. This makes Zipperwall very interesting for governments and companies that want to select suppliers and products that:

  • Comply with regulations and regulations, and focus on innovative, sustainable products
  • Want to reduce the CO2 impact of the built environment
  • Using products that fit within your own corporate social responsibility strategy
  • Making a real contribution to circular building.

QUALITY FOR AN ENDLESS LIFE CYCLE

In our production process we work as locally as possible, so that we keep our transport low. We make high-quality products because we know they last longer. This is very important for a circular product whereby the responsibility for taking it back lies with us.

ZIPPERWALL TAKES CIRCULARITY SERIOUSLY

We see circularity as a really serious business. For example, we consciously choose to do a number of things but more important: to not do a number of things. What is circular is good for us, and therefore also good for you.

WHAT DO WE REALLY NOT DO?

Virgin materials are used as little as possible at Ritwand. We produce not as cheaply as possible in far away countries. If any component can’t be reused, we don’t use it. If we see that material is somehow not good for the environment, it is refused. We use as few tools as possible and deliver with as little transport as possible. And we prefer not to throw anything away.

WHAT DO WE REALLY DO?

If we have the opportunity, and we always investigate it, we choose the most sustainable raw materials and products with the lowest carbon footprint. We use recycled materials from existing waste streams, such as wood, PET and aluminum to create new elements. We prefer near for far away with our product and raw material choice. So that we keep our transport low. We go for quality, because we know that this will last longer and that is very important for a circular product whose responsibility for taking it back lies with ourselves. Everything is reused, if it is not in its original form, then we find another destination for it, in our company or outside. And everything can be repaired, down to the smallest parts.

We know what we are talking about, because the people of Zipperwall are working over 30 years in this market. But it’s time to think and give new twist to old working methods, with circularity always the common thread.

OUR PROMISE:

Our Promise: By recycling raw materials, our carbon footprint is very low. By making high-quality products with a long life cycle and a well thought-out end of life cycle, we can deliver very high-quality products that also provide a special circular business model for you and for us.
